On the morning of May 8, the operational coordination center of the State Emergency Service in the capital received a message about a fire on the street. Valkovskaya, in the Podolsky district of the city.
The fire occurred in a private residential building on Valkovskaya Street, a woman died.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Kiev.
“On arrival at the scene, it was found that a 1-story private residential building was on fire, with the spread of fire to nearby outbuildings. At the same time, there was a threat of flame spread to a nearby 2-story residential building,” the State Emergency Service reports.
At 06:46 the fire was localized and at 07:01 it was eliminated.
Three units of fire and rescue equipment and 16 personnel worked at the scene.
The causes and circumstances of this fire will be established by law enforcement officers.
