Border guards in Transcarpathia immediately discovered 12 fake birth certificates for children.
Fictitious documents were provided by four men aged 20 to 43 who arrived at the Luzhanka checkpoint at the same time to leave for neighboring Hungary.
This was reported in the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“All of them are citizens of Ukraine, residents of the Khmelnitsky and Zhytomyr regions. Each of the four, as a basis for traveling abroad during the period of the legal regime of martial law, along with passport documents, provided three birth certificates of “their” children for verification,” the statement says. in the message.
In the course of checking the certificate, the border control inspector found a number of signs pointing to their forgery. One of the “fathers of many children” confessed that he bought the certificates through his friend for 500 US dollars.
The border guards sent a message to the National Police of the Transcarpathian region about the presence in the actions of men of signs of a crime under Article 358 of the Criminal Code “Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of fake documents, seals, stamps”.
Law enforcement officers are now identifying the persons involved in this crime.
