On May 10, for the first time during the war, the Russian occupiers did not shell Kharkiv with shells.
However, it is still too early to talk about safety in the city , because this takes time.
Igor Terekhov, mayor of Kharkiv, spoke about this on May 10 during a telethon.
The mayor of the city noted that today, for the first time during a full-scale war, Russian invaders did not shell Kharkiv. He noted that a few more days are needed to assess the security situation.
“I would like people to make plans today, businesses make plans to return to Kharkiv,” the mayor said.
Recall that the defense forces of Ukraine liberated 4 villages in the Kharkiv region from the Russians: Cherkasy Tishki, Russian Tishki, Rubizhne and Bayrak.
