The Russian occupiers understand the inevitability of punishment for war crimes in Ukraine and require the command to classify their participation in the invasion.
This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is noted that such appeals have acquired a special scale in parts of the Russian aerospace forces. To hide from revenge for the massacres of civilians and the destroyed infrastructure of Ukraine, not only the direct perpetrators of the crimes are trying, but also the former military who participated in the preparations for the invasion of our state.
Military intelligence of Ukraine has established the identity of war criminals – servicemen of the 277th bomber aviation regiment of the 303rd mixed aviation division of the 11th Air Force and Air Defense Army (military unit 77983), stationed at the Khurba airfield in the Khabarovsk Territory. Most of them were involved in delivering missile and bomb strikes on the territory of Ukraine from airfields in Belarus “Lida” and “Baranovichi”, as well as airfields in the Russian Federation “Borisoglebsk” and “Marinovka”.
The occupiers are trying to avoid responsibility for the massacres of civilians and complicity in the preparation of such crimes by demanding that the command provide them with false documents about being on medical treatment or on vacation . Some pilots demand documents that at the time of the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war were no longer serving in the unit .
Recall, the head of the US National Intelligence noted that in the coming months, the course of events in the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine may become more unpredictable . The conflict is likely to escalate.
