Due to massive fires in 44 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, a special fire regime has been declared, and an emergency regime has been declared in six.
So, in the Russian Federation they are trying to fight massive forest fires , which have increased by 2.5 times in a week.
According to the data of the Aviation Forest Protection of the Russian Federation, on May 22, in 12 regions of Russia, forest services and emergency workers eliminated 57 forest fires on an area of 2087 hectares.
Today, 84 forest fires on an area of more than 52 hectares are being extinguished in 15 regions of the Russian Federation. Last week, the area engulfed in fire was about 20,000 hectares.
The most difficult situation remains in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where forests are burning in the Sayano-Shushensky Reserve.
