Conflicting information about the iPhone 14 series, which will debut in a week, has been pouring from the expanses of Chinese social networks. Firstly, it is reported that the black boxes for older Pro-models are being abandoned – now they will allegedly be white. Secondly, a rumor spread about Apple’s intention to “combine” the double hole of the front camera in the “firmware” programmatically into a single pill. In this case, the space between them, according to the publication 9to5mac, will be used to display colored indicators indicating the activation of the microphone and camera.

And this sounds quite logical, since such an indication was introduced to iOS quite recently, and the small usable space between the frontal holes is great for placing virtual LED indicators there. But even if the indicators are not active, the space between the holes will still be painted black at the software level. Finally, the use of a more powerful MagSafe magnet is mentioned, thanks to which the iPhone will be more securely attached to the charging pad.
