ASUS has introduced another pair of gaming flagships of the ROG Phone family – ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. The ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro models ( all the details ), first introduced in July, acted as the basis. This includes a design with classic indents and an additional panel on the back (LED in 6D and a display in 6D Ultimate), a triple main camera with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor and support for 8K video recording, a 6.78″ 165Hz AMOLED screen with peak brightness of 1200nits, ultrasonic triggers and ROG UI interface based on Android 12. The key difference is MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ instead of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (respectively, DAC is replaced). ROG Phone 6 still has trendy LPDDR5.
ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate are presented in only one variant – gray. The price in Europe starts at 949 euros for the 12/256 GB version of the ROG Phone 6D. The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is available in 16GB/512GB configurations for €1,399 and comes with the AeroActive Cooler 6.
