Google continues to improve the experience of using the Play Store for users of various types of devices. We recently launched reviews for apps by device type , and now we have improved the search and download of apps for different types of devices.
In fact, Google introduced three innovations at once in the Play Store. The first of these is the addition of new home pages for non-phone devices, including watches, TVs, and cars. They are available in the Other devices tab under the search box. Each home page includes recommendation lines. New sections should appear this week.
The second innovation is a new device-specific search filter. It should make it easier to find apps for non-smartphone devices. Filters should also appear this week, they will be displayed below the search box.
Finally, Google has made it easy to install apps remotely. Now the same Android app can be installed on multiple different devices with a single tap.
