The Ukrainian side managed to release 153 people.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region, 271 cases of kidnapping have been confirmed.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporozhye military regional administration Oleksandr Starukh.
According to him, 118 people are currently held hostage, 153 have been released. Over the past day, two more residents of the Zaporozhye region were released.
Earlier, Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that the occupiers were torturing Ukrainian civilians taken hostage.
