Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro+ and Redmi Note 11 SE smartphones powered by MediaTek chips

Xiaomi today expanded the Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones with three new models – Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro + and Redmi Note 11 SE. The Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro+ models based on the sub-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip have similar specifications and design, while the Redmi Note 11 SE model is based on the Dimenisty 700 chip and belongs to the middle price category.

Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ smartphones feature 6.6-inch FHD+ (2460 × 1080 pixels) IPS panels with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, which can be reduced to 30Hz in power saving mode. A notch in the center of the top of the display houses a 16MP selfie camera, while the rear panel houses a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor (1/1.72″ and 1.6µm), as well as an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and 2 -MP sensor for macro photography.

Both models are based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, have up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB. Both new items are running Android 12 with the MIUI 13 software shell.

The main difference between Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ is battery capacity and charging. The Note 11T Pro has a larger 5080mAh dual-cell battery with 67W fast charging support, while the Note 11T Pro+ has a 4400mAh dual-cell battery with 120W fast charging support to go from zero to 100% in 19 minutes. In terms of protection against moisture and dust, the novelties correspond to the IP53 standard. To unlock smartphones, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used.

Both models will be available in Atomic Silver, Time Blue and Midnight Black. Xiaomi will also release a limited edition Astro Boy based on the Note 11T Pro+, with a manga character engraved on the back.

All new items will go on sale May 31. The base version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage costs 1799 yuan ($270), the model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory will cost 2199 yuan ($330). The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ model will be priced at 2099 yuan ($315) in the base configuration with 8/128 GB of memory, while the top model with 8/512 GB of memory will cost 2499 yuan ($375). The 8GB/512GB version of the Astro Boy is priced at 2,499 yuan ($375).

The third novelty, the Redmi Note 11SE smartphone shown above, is equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip with 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The dual rear camera includes a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The resolution of the front camera is 8 megapixels. The 5000mAh battery supports 18W charging.

From May 31, the Redmi Note 11 SE will be available for purchase in China in Black (Shadow Black) and Blue (Space Blue) at a price of 1099 yuan ($165) for the version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The cost of the Redmi Note 11 SE 8/128 GB version will be 1399 yuan ($210).
