Beta code for new operating systems is often the source of many new hardware leaks. For example, thanks to them, it became approximately known how the future AirPods Pro will look like:
Now the first image of the MacBook Pro 16 has appeared. It was found in the macOS Catalina 10.15.1 beta. MaxGeneration talks about it.
On the left is a 15-inch MacBook Pro. On the right – MacBook Pro 16. By the way, this is exactly what this notebook will be called in beta, according to the publication. It seems that there are no significant differences, except for narrower frames. And indeed: if you don’t pay attention to the screen, it’s still the same MacBook Pro.
And at this moment you start to doubt: the insider Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his truthful predictions, said that the MacBook Pro 16, in addition to the new scissor-type keyboard, will receive a new design. And then it turns out some kind of minor update. And that is precisely why such a leak is hard to believe.

I really hope (but it’s very unlikely) we will get something like this! New MacBooks will be released this year, I think in September with new iPhones or in separate October event ??

On the other hand, here someone might not understand someone, and the MacBook Pro will indeed receive a minor update – the screen will simply become slightly larger, and that’s it. Otherwise, it will be the same laptop familiar to us.
The new MacBook Pro is expected to be shown next year. Its presentation will probably take place at WWDC 2020. Previously it was supposed that it will be shown this fall, but something went wrong. According to rumors, Apple has not yet decided on the type of display: it will be IPS or OLED.
