Scientists have figured out how many fruits and vegetables you need to eat for a long life

Researchers, as part of their scientific work, attracted more than 100 thousand volunteers. Their dietary data were collected every 2-4 years for 30 years. Among other things, the experts analyzed information on the consumption of vegetables and fruits and the mortality rate from other studies.

Subsequently, scientists have come to the conclusion that eating fruits and vegetables on a daily basis can reduce the likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease and cancer – the main causes of premature death. According to researchers, you need to consume five servings of fruits and vegetables every day. The correct ratio of fruits to vegetables is two to three.
