In December, Vivo introduced the Exynos 60-based X60 and X1080 Pro smartphones for the Chinese market. Later, various sources claimed that the models of these devices for the global market will be equipped with Snapdragon 870 chips. The Malaysian division of Vivo today confirmed this information.

An advertising teaser was published on the Web, which indicated the name of the device family (X60 Series), as well as the chip that will be used in it – Snapdragon 870. Recall that this chip is, in fact, a slightly modified version of Snapdragon 865+. The devices will debut on March 22 this year and are expected to be global.

In addition, some details about the characteristics of the devices are mentioned. For example, smartphones will have improved Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 and Extreme NightVision 2.0. However, these features were inherent in the Chinese versions, so the new items for the international market, it seems, will differ only in processors.

Vivo X60 and X60 Pro feature 6,56-inch AMOLED displays with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The basic version in the face of Vivo X60 has a 4300 mAh battery, while the X60 Pro has 4200 mAh. Both smartphones have 33W fast charging support. The resolution of the front cameras in both versions is 32 megapixels.

On the back of the Vivo X60 there is a system of three cameras: 48 megapixel main, 13 megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 13 megapixel portrait. All sensors are optically stabilized. The Vivo X60 Pro has four cameras on the back: a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP telephoto camera, a 13 MP camera for portraits and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle one. Here, too, all cameras have optical stabilization.
