Counterpoint Research writes that Oppo has increased its share in China to 21% and came out on top. The brand beat Vivo, which has 20%, and Huawei, Apple and Xiaomi at 16%. Oppo’s sales have grown significantly year over year.
Analysts believe that the reason for the success was the change in the positioning of the Reno line and the performance of the Reno 5. The problems that happened to Huawei also contributed to the situation. This company has been blacklisted by the US Department of Commerce since 2019.
