Apple is rumored to have an event featuring new products scheduled for March 23rd. The new leak confirms once again that it will feature the new iPad Pro with Mini-LED matrices. The information was shared by DigiTimes, citing a reliable source.
The Taiwanese supplier of touch panels for Apple GIS has reportedly expanded its manufacturing capacity at one of its facilities in Chengdu, China, ahead of new product launches. The source claims that the Californian company will unveil the next generation iPad Pro at the end of March. This is consistent with information from insider Jon Prosser that the devices will be revealed on March 23rd. The most important new product is said to be the 12,9-inch iPad Pro. This model will be the first to receive a Mini-LED panel, which has not yet been used in any Apple product.
It is assumed that along with the 12,9-inch model will be presented and 11-inch iPad Pro, but there are no details about it yet. The next generation iPad Pro will be based on the Apple A14X processor, built using the 5nm process technology. It is reported that the performance of this chip in some tasks will be close to that of the M1 used in Apple computers. In addition, the new tablet will receive support for 5G networks. Apple is expected to unveil AirTag, a tracker for finding things on March 23, which is expected to launch from last year.
