IGN has released an exclusive preview of God of War: Fallen God, an upcoming comic from Dark Horse Comics, which will focus on Kratos’ post-God of War 3 events.
As a reminder, God of War: Fallen God was announced last March. The first issue was supposed to go on sale on June 24, 2020, but this has not happened so far.
However, by now it is not long to wait: the release of the debut chapter of God of War: Fallen God is scheduled for tomorrow, March 10. On the occasion of the upcoming premiere, IGN has shared screenshots of three pages of the comic.
The plot of God of War: Fallen God has not changed since the announcement: after the final of the triquel, Kratos goes to the desert, but gets involved in a losing battle – against himself.
The God of War: Fallen God mini-series has four episodes. The cover of the first was shown back in March 2020, the second was shown by IGN as part of its preview, and the third was posted on the Web two weeks ago.
God of War: Fallen God is by writer Chris Roberson and artist Tony Parker. In the past, the tandem worked on a comic strip about Kratos’ adventures shortly before the start of God of War (2018).
Santa Monica Studio is currently working on the as-yet-untitled sequel to God of War (2018). The release of the sequel is officially announced for the current year for the PlayStation 5, however, according to rumors, the premiere will be postponed to a later date.
