Ubisoft Publishing and Ubisoft Toronto Studio have announced the launch of online multiplayer in Watch Dogs: Legion on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update was originally planned to be released on PC today, but the developer ran into a bug – the release had to be postponed.
Watch Dogs: Legion online mode includes:
- joint tasks in the open world for four users;
- joint special operations, which are longer and more difficult than joint tasks and are designed for well-coordinated teamwork;
- Competitions between players, including battles of spider bots in the arena and the classic Invasion mode, where you have to hack into the worlds of gamers and not let yourself be discovered.
Watch Dogs: Legion is set in modern London, and the main characters are city residents who were recruited by the hacker group DedSec to resist the authorities. Each character has their own personality traits, backstory and skills.
Watch Dogs: Legion was released on October 29, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, debuted on November 10 on Xbox Series X and S, and on November 12 on PlayStation 5.
