Independent Spanish studio Lince Works on its official website announced the forced postponement of the release of its stealth-action adventure Aragami 2 to a later date.
Recall that Aragami 2 was presented at the gamescom 2020 online exhibition at the end of August 2020. Until recently, the premiere of the project was scheduled for “Early 2021”.
As it turned out, the development team does not meet the deadlines, despite the progress made. In this regard, the release of Aragami 2 was decided to be postponed to the third quarter (period from July to September) of the current year.
From the point of view of content, Aragami 2 is already ready by now and can be passed from start to finish, however, as Lince Works admits, there is still a lot of work left.
This is mainly about fixing bugs and general polishing of the gaming experience – especially, according to the authors, this applies to versions of Aragami 2 for consoles of the current generation.
Finally, the developers thanked the players for their patience, promised to keep abreast of any other changes in the production process and reminded that Aragami 2 is a much more ambitious project than the first part.
Aragami 2 is being created for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The game promises a cooperative mode for three, a full-fledged combat system and a character leveling system.
