Twitter plans to make Spaces’ voice chat service publicly available by the end of April. This means that anyone can use it. The Verge journalists learned about this at an online conference organized by the social network.
The publication clarifies that the company’s plans may change during the testing of the audio service. Now the developers are trying to finalize it to the required state. It is important to note that the specified date is not indicated as an official launch of the new product – it is likely that the company wants to test Spaces at a public level.
Spaces is one of the new features of the social network. It resembles the popular Clubhouse platform. In December 2020, the company began testing the service among iOS users, and from March 2021 on Android devices.
