In mid-February, it became known that the humorous dating simulator Super Seducer 3 was banned from publishing on Steam. The administration of the store demanded that the ideological mastermind of the project and concurrently leading actor Richard La Ruina submit a more censored version. But, as it turned out, Valve recently finally removed the game from their store.
In a personal microblog, Richard la Ruina wrote: “[Administration] Steam has banned and removed Super Seducer 3 from the service. They will not allow us to release the project in any form. Our page disappeared, and with it 61 wishlist additions. Prior to that, I was told to expect “approval or feedback.” We have repeatedly said that we will do whatever they need “.
Richard la Ruina has attached screenshots of the correspondence with the Steam administration to the message. As it turned out, the reason was the demonstration of real people in a sexual context. Super Seducer 3 uses live action footage. Apparently, Valve’s scenes in the game seemed a bit too frank.
Separately, it should be noted that hundreds of projects with erotic materials are sold on Steam. However, all of them were created with the help of graphics – the store administration apparently has a different attitude to live filming, even if there is no nudity in them.
