It’s worth noting that Smiley doesn’t just sell sweets, it also collects data on how shoppers interact with in-store products. This data will then be processed, and based on them, the store will build the best selling strategy.

So far, Smiley is only being tested in a store in New York. If the pilot is successful, the robot will be launched in other stores around the world.
