In this part of the Internet, among other things, there are forums for hackers who buy stolen data, etc. As a rule, hackers themselves post their “vacancies” on specialized forums. However, since the beginning of 2021, many advertisements from job seekers have appeared on the sites. These people are ready to work for cyber fraudsters. 

As Check Point Research has seen, in the last quarter, 10 to 16 new messages appear on hacker forums every month.  

The researchers concluded that this growth is due to people experiencing despair. Many are unable to find work and have financial difficulties due to the pandemic.

One of the applicants wrote that he is in a difficult financial situation and offers his services in the field of “cashing out money, DDOS, security”.
