NZXT has expanded its N7 series of motherboards with the first solution for AMD Ryzen processors. The new N7 B550 can work with Ryzen 5000, Ryzen 4000 and Ryzen 3000 series processors and, as you might guess from the name, is built on the AMD B550 chipset.
Externally, the model NZXT N7 B550 differs little from the model based on the Intel Z490 chipset, presented by the company last year. Almost all elements of the board, made in a standard ATX form factor, are hidden behind a metal casing, for which the manufacturer offers two colors: white or black.
The NZXT N7 B550 uses a 14-phase 12 + 2 power supply. The motherboard is equipped with four RAM slots with support for high-speed memory up to DDR4-4733 MHz through overclocking or through the operation of XMP profiles.
The motherboard supports the PCIe 4.0 bus, has two connectors for NVMe M.2 drives, and also offers support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless data transfer standards.
Like the model on the Intel Z490 chipset, the NZXT N7 B550 motherboard is priced at $ 230 by the manufacturer. The novelty has already gone on sale.
