Sarvikas has been associated with Nokia and HMD for 15 years. In June 2020, he was named Vice President of HMD North America. There he was responsible for expanding Nokia’s product line.
Sarvikas has not yet revealed what he plans to do next. It is also unclear if he will be attending HMD’s April 8 event to unveil the new Nokia smartphones one last time before leaving the company.
We will remind, on April 8, the presentation of three models is expected – G10, X10 and X20.
Recently it became known that over the past three years, HMD has lost 3 billion euros, and in two years has laid off more than 11 thousand employees of Nokia.
