Experts interviewed by TASS expect that electronics will rise in price by 2021-10% from the second quarter of 20. Experts believe that consumers will feel the rise in the cost of electronics soon, when goods purchased and delivered at new prices appear on store shelves.
Citylink’s purchasing director said that “in almost all categories of electronics in the next two quarters, there will be a shortage and rise in prices.” Smartphones, video cards, laptops, monitors, TVs suffered from the deficit of components. The cost of large household appliances is most affected by a shortage of containers and a fivefold increase in the cost of freight.
Imbalances in supply and shortages are expected to occur throughout the year.
