This was announced by a Xiaomi representative on Twitter. According to the official announcement, the company’s premium smartphones will receive new battery technology. It will use a silicon-oxygen anode, ultra-fast charging, and it will also be thin.
A Xiaomi spokesperson also noted that such battery technologies are used in electric vehicles. Changing to silicon-oxygen anode technology is likely to provide benefits to the battery.
Recall that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra also has a Snapdragon 888 processor, LPDDR5 memory, support for 67-W charging by wire, a 6,81-inch OLED QHD + screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The presentation of the device will take place on March 29.
