In addition to the new flagship smartphones and the Mi Band 6 fitness tracker, Xiaomi today introduced the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro. The device is essentially a renamed MIJIA Projector 2 Pro that was unveiled in China last summer. However, it is adapted to the requirements of the global market, and comes with an operating system Android TV and Google Assistant.
Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro boasts Full HD resolution. The screen diagonal can be adjusted from 60 to 120 inches. The maximum brightness of the LED reaches 1300 lumens. The projector supports HDR10, which delivers superior contrast and vivid images.
A 10-watt built-in speaker with support for DTS-HD and Dolby Audio is responsible for the sound. It is worth noting that the projector can be used as a wireless speaker by connecting it to a smartphone or other sound source via Bluetooth.
Mi Smart Projector 2 allows you to enjoy high-quality images without distortion in any conditions, performing omnidirectional keystone correction to get a perfectly rectangular picture. In addition, the device is endowed with an auto focus function that can make the displayed image clear in no more than two seconds.
The user interface is fully adapted to the needs of the international market. The projector boasts Chromecast support and a pre-installed Netflix client. Integration with Google Assistant allows users to change channels using voice commands and control smart home devices. In terms of cost, the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro will be priced at 999 euros. Those who pre-order the device will cost 899 euros.
