COP26 president Alok Sharma has issued an update on COP26 talks, saying there will be no plenary meeting this evening to avoid delaying ongoing consultations.
Revised documents for the agreements to be struck will be issued overnight and released at around 8am tomorrow.
There will then be a short informal plenary meeting on Saturday morning, not before 10am, when he will introduce the documents.
He will share his assessment of the state of the negotiations and set out the proposed next steps.
Mr Sharma said he envisages this to be followed by formal plenary meetings in the afternoon to adopt the final decisions of COP26 and close the session on Saturday.
An update was also delivered by his advisor Camilla Born on Twitter.
