Pollyanna, who was two when she lost her leg in a bus crash, said: “It was the first time I’ve danced on stage on it and it felt great, I really enjoyed it.
“It was nice to perform on it for once instead of practising in my kitchen.”
The prosthetic, fitted into the en pointe position, was made by the design and engineering team at Dorset Orthopedic
It came after her father, Telegraph journalist Christopher Hope, appealed on social media for someone to help develop a ballet prosthetic so she could do pointe work on both legs.
