On Sunday, May 1, people were reported to have been evacuated from Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, and Gorna hromada in the Luhansk region.
Today, on May 1, 26 people were taken from Lisichansk, Luhansk region , to safe settlements.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk police department Sergei Gaidai.
According to him, the evacuated people are going to the Dnieper.
“I would like to note that in Lisichansk every day there are people who want to go away from the echo of the” Russian world “. The townspeople live on a large territory – about 95 sq. Km. Therefore, not everyone will immediately find out about free evacuation. And as soon as information reaches a remote area about the possibility of leaving safely – people make decisions and evacuate. Today 26 people left. I’m sure there will be even more on weekdays,” he stressed.
Recall, the invaders on Friday, April 29, fired at two evacuation buses in the Popasna Luhansk region.
