It is noted that on April 30, the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova were crossed by more than 78 thousand people and 19 thousand vehicles.
According to border guards, more than 38 thousand people left Ukraine over the past day, 23 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest proceeded to Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.
Almost 40,000 people arrived in Ukraine over the past day, of which about 36,000 are Ukrainians.
More than 380 humanitarian aid trucks have been issued.
“Given the situation that is developing on the territory of Ukraine during martial law, when citizens of Ukraine cannot quickly and on time issue a passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad (foreign passport), the possibility of crossing the border by citizens of Ukraine on internal passports has been extended,” the statement said.
