In the Sumy region, the city chairman of Buryn, Viktor Ladus, his deputy and deputy of the city council, was informed of suspicion of collaborating with the occupiers.
They are suspected of collaborating with the Russians and providing material support to the armed formations of the occupiers.

According to the investigation, during the occupation of the territory of the Burinsky community of the Konotop region, officials allegedly agreed to cooperate with the invaders.
“The suspects carried out information activities aimed at supporting the actions of the aggressor state. They also provided its armed formations with housing, fuel and food,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
Currently, they were detained by law enforcement officers, the issue of choosing measures is being decided.
As Novinarnia writes, in addition to Ladukha, his first deputy Yevgeny Bazima, as well as deputy Alexander Gudymenko, were detained.
The head of the legal department of the executive committee of the Buryn City Council, Vyacheslav Derizemlya, told the journalists of the publication that the connection with the mayor was cut off when Ladukha went to the capital to testify to the Central Directorate of the SBU. Derizemlya claims that the mayor did not cooperate with the enemy.
In a video message on March 2, Ladukha assured that Buryn was Ukraine.
“No one gave up anywhere. We work according to Ukrainian laws. We have a flag flying. Our community is small. But everyone has a 100% patriotic spirit. Everyone here is for Ukraine and will defend their piece of land to the last. I want to say again: Buryn is Ukraine,” the mayor said at the time.
Earlier, two collaborators who shot civilians in Bolshaya Dymerka were detained.
