Civilians of the two temporarily occupied regions have been left without communication since yesterday, April 30.
In the Kherson region, mobile communications and the Internet of all operators disappeared. A similar problem is in part of the Zaporozhye region.
This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Yesterday, residents of the Kherson and part of the Zaporizhia regions first experienced interruptions in the Internet and mobile communications, then these services disappeared. It became known that the reasons for the lack of communication were the breaks in the fiber-optic trunk lines and the disconnection from the power supply of the equipment of operators in these regions.
“The problems that have arisen simultaneously with all mobile operators, as well as providers of fixed Internet services, are nothing more than another attempt by the occupier to leave Ukrainians without access to truthful information about the course of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, and to make their false propaganda a non-alternative source of information, as is done in Russia, ”the message says.
State Special Communications Service in the operational information on the work of mobile communications, the Internet and digital television in Ukraine for April 30 does not mention the termination of the work of mobile operators from Ukraine in the Kherson region.
On April 18, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on the seizure of towers and offices of the Kyivstar operator by Russian invaders in the region.
