The Russians are trying to undermine the situation in the border areas of the Odessa region and hope to drag the unrecognized Transnistria into the war against Ukraine.

“On the eve of May 2, the campaign continues to loosen Odessa, border regions and attempts to incite pro-Russian forces,” the report says.
It became known about a sabotage preparation – the circulation of the newspaper “Pridnestrovie” dated May 2, 2022 with an alleged official appeal of the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie to Putin with a request for protection from the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“By publicizing this provocation, the actions of the enemy forces have been discredited,” the OK Yug noted.
On the eve of memorial days, the military reminds of the need to be vigilant and conscious, avoid mass gatherings of people, observe curfew restrictions, and not endanger yourself by visiting prohibited zones and territories.
Earlier it was reported that in Transnistria, Russian propaganda is spreading lies about the threat to Ukraine.
