In Odessa, 12 saboteurs were detained who were preparing large-scale provocations on May 2.
During the searches, they found explosives, weapons and campaign materials with communist symbols banned in Ukraine.

On the eve of May 2, law enforcement officers conducted a special operation to identify saboteurs who were supposed to destabilize the situation in Odessa.
“Dozens of people from among the criminals and possible collaborators were checked, who, under the leadership of the Russian special services, could destabilize the situation in the region. As a result, DBR employees found and detained 12 people who are reasonably suspected of preparing sabotage, protests and riots in the Odessa region. According to operational information , the detainees were working on inciting Odessa citizens to mass riots,” the report says.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation found a lot of machine guns, machine guns, grenades, pistols and cartridges for them in the detainees. Also during the searches, anti-Ukrainian literature and banned communist symbols were found.
