For the birthday of Princess Charlotte, who turns seven on Monday, three new photos of her have been published. They were made over the weekend by Charlotte’s mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
On them, Charlotte smiles, sitting among the bells, and on one of the photos the princess hugs her pet, the Cocker Spaniel Orla.
The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is fourth in line to the throne, after Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015 at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, has a long history of photography and is a patron of the Royal Photographic Society.
The photographs she took were regularly published in honor of the birthdays of her children.
New photos of Louis – the youngest of Prince William and Kate’s three children – were released a few weeks ago when he turned four.
Recently, the princess has been seen in public twice. In March, she was at Westminster Abbey with her parents and Prince George for a memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh, and the four also attended Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children spend a lot of time at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, on the grounds of the Queen’s estate of Sandringham, in the east of England.
The couple adopted a Cocker Spaniel, Orla, in 2020, shortly before the death of their previous dog, Lupo, who was a wedding gift from the Duchess’s brother, James Middleton.
Last Friday, Prince William and Kate celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary.
