In early March, the house in Borodyanka was destroyed by the occupiers, a rocket hit here. Only now people passing by noticed that a cat still lives on the 7th floor, according to TSN .
One of them was Katya from Kiev, who came to Borodianka to work with foreign journalists. “We just happened to see movement there, when we brought the camera closer, we realized that it was a cat,” says the girl.
The girl immediately began to write on the social network – help, the bill for the clock, because the animal in the trap, which was once his home, has been too long. Volunteers from the Zoo Patrol went to help. “Over the past two months, the patrol has existed since March 3. It’s about 500. These are not only those whom we save from apartments, but also those whom we feed. We had 3-4 floors,” says the volunteer.
Volunteers picked up a drone to make sure the cat was alive. Local rescuers did not have the necessary equipment to remove the animal, so they attracted colleagues from neighboring Irpen, who did not refuse and two brave men went up to the apartment. At first, the rescuers climbed in through the window, but, despite attempts to knock out the door to the apartment with the animal, they could not.
Therefore, the second attempt of rescuers from the other, most dangerous side. “There is a danger of collapse of building structures, from the upper floors and to the lower ones,” says Ivan Marets, chief inspector of the practical work department of the Buchansk district administration.
Finally, the rescuers descend from the burned-out apartment, Alexander has a cat in his jacket. “He was hiding, but he went on his own hands,” the man says.
