The United States, Norway and Austria have provided almost 500 million euros in grant funds to Ukraine for the economic recovery of Ukraine.
Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko also said that in the near future they are preparing to attract another grant support from the United States in the amount of another $500 million.
He wrote about this on his Facebook .
“We start the week with positive news on the international front. The State Budget of Ukraine received the regular part of grant funds from World Bank donors, under the Second Loan Program for Development Policy in the field of economic recovery of Ukraine,” Marchenko said.
According to him, the United States, Norway and Austria provided Ukraine with a grant of 495 million euros.
Recall, World Bank President David Malpass assessed the physical damage to Ukrainian buildings and infrastructure due to the Russian invasion. It reached about 60 billion dollars and will continue to grow as the war continues.
