On May 3, a terrible accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the Rivne region.
The fatal accident occurred around 19:20 near the village of Sytne, Dubno district, Rivne region.
It is reported by the police of Rivne region.
The vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision. According to preliminary information, 16 people were killed . Six more injured are now known. Several ambulances were sent to the scene of the accident.
Traffic on the highway “Kyiv-Chop” in this section is completely blocked.
Note that the State Emergency Service reports already about 17 dead.

Subsequently, the head of the Rivne OVA, Vitaliy Koval, clarified that a fuel truck, a minibus and a regular bus (probably the Kharkiv-Zgorzelets route) collided in an accident.

7 ambulance crews, 7 patrol crews, 7 pieces of equipment and 44 employees of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
