In the Rivne region there was a big accident involving a fuel truck, bus and car. 16 people were bent.
This was reported by the police of Rivne region.
The accident happened on May 3 at about 7:20 pm on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Sitne, Dubna district.
Due to the collision, the cars caught fire.
16 dead – this is preliminary information. Six more injured are known.

An investigative task force is working.
Traffic on the Kyiv-Chop highway in this section was completely blocked.
Later, the head of Rivne region Vitaliy Koval added that the bus was probably traveling on the route “Kharkiv-Zhozhelets (Poland)”.
According to him, there are 12 victims, they were taken to the hospital in Dubno (7) and Radyvyliv (5).
Seven ambulance crews, seven patrol crews, seven units of equipment and 44 SES officers are working at the scene.
There is also a forensic laboratory of the GUNP and prosecutors.
The fire from the collision was localized, patrols organized a detour of transport from Rivne and Lviv.
Russia has consistently bombed Ukraine’s oil supply infrastructure. In recent weeks, there has been a shortage of fuel at gas stations in Ukraine.
