The psycho-neurological boarding school in Borodyanka is preparing for the return of its wards. At the beginning of March, infidels entered there and held more than four hundred people hostage! Subsequently, they managed to be taken to a safe place. The boarding school itself was plundered by the Russians.

What patients and staff had to endure during the occupation – and what the journalists saw in the boarding school now – was said in TSN .

From the first days of the war, no one could leave the boarding school, because there were positions of Russian invaders. They dug in here, set up mortars, replaced everything around, and shelling continued all the time, but the worst began on March 5. Then the invaders knocked out this gate with an armored personnel carrier, drove into the territory and took hostage all the employees and wards of the boarding school.

They were “Kadyrovtsy”. Director of the boarding school Marina Ganitskaya recalls that there were about a hundred of them. They took all the people outside. They carried out even those who could not walk. At that time there were more than four hundred people in the boarding school.

She was threatened and forced to record a video. We wanted the woman to say thank you. This terror lasted more than a week.

There were no communications here during the occupation. Food was cooked on a fire, water was collected in a pond. 13 patients died during this time. A mass grave was made on the territory of the boarding school.

In the end, the evacuation was organized. The wards and employees were taken to different regions of Ukraine. When, after the release of Borodianka, Marina returned to the boarding school, she did not recognize him.

The fate of this boarding school was imbued with 1 + 1 media and began to help with everything that is needed so that patients can return here.

The whole bus is loaded with mattresses, pillows, blankets and linens. This is already the second batch of humanitarian aid, which was purchased at the expense of funds raised during the single collection of Ukraine SOS from the Charitable Foundation “You are not alone” 1 + 1 media. There is also food, medicine, hygiene products, as well as washing machines and dryers.

The boarding school is getting ready to accept all of its own – everything has already been cleaned here, flowers, potatoes, garlic and onions have been planted.

Recall that 30 children rescued from Chernihiv are now safe – in a sanatorium in the Carpathian region . And all thanks to one single person – her teacher Natalya Pesotskaya. The youngest of her pupils is only 3 years old, the oldest is 18. All of them are from a center for socio-psychological rehabilitation bombed by the Russians.
