In the Kiev region , a Russian military man was informed of suspicion for hitting prisoners with a rifle butt in the ribs and legs and threatening execution.

This was reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Kiev region.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a citizen of the Russian Federation – a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was notified in absentia of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the message says.

According to the investigation, in March 2022, a suspect in the 234th Airborne Assault Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces entered the city of Irpen, Kyiv Region. Together with other military personnel of the Russian Federation, he placed military equipment in the courtyard of a private household.

In the settlement, the infidels were looking for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement officers.

The suspect, along with other Russian soldiers, took nine men prisoner, taking their mobile phones. The prisoners were beaten with the butt of a weapon in the ribs and legs. They were threatened with death and simulated execution, they were not given food and water.

In the village of Babintsy, Buchansky district, Kiev region , a man and a woman were exposed who collaborated with the Russian invaders .
