The State Bureau of Investigation has blocked in Transcarpathia an extensive channel for the illegal transfer of men of military age abroad.
A settler from Kharkov was engaged in illegal transfer of Ukrainians abroad. Thus, he decided to organize an illegal business in the west of Ukraine.
This was reported in the press service of the DBR and in the Office of the Prosecutor General .
It is noted that the Kharkiv resident provided many services to potential evaders: false certificates of unfitness for military service, transportation of men across the border as volunteers, etc. The man estimated his services at 20 thousand dollars.
In particular, it was possible to establish that the “businessman” in one of the recruiting and social support centers for men in Transcarpathia allegedly passed the military medical commission. It was she who recognized them as unfit for military service in wartime with the simultaneous exclusion from military records.
A resident of Kharkov managed to detain “hot.” He received fees for services from yet another wanting to hide abroad. During the search, law enforcement officers seized $40,000, weapons and ammunition, mobile phones, flash drives and stamps from the detainee.
In turn, the Office of the Prosecutor General was informed that the organizer, during a search in the car in which he was traveling, found and seized 20 thousand dollars of payment for the production and transfer of falsified documents for a man detained at the border, as well as about 7 thousand euros.
Currently, law enforcement officers are checking employees of military registration and enlistment offices, doctors and border guards for illegal business.
As reported, in the Transcarpathian region, two local residents tried to illegally smuggle a conscript to Romania for $4,000. The attackers were exposed “on the hot” and detained.
