Ukraine during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war received 4.5 billion euros of financial assistance from international partners. This is grant funding that will not need to be repaid.
Ukraine has already received 4.5 billion euros from international partners and friends. Last week, $500 million came from the World Bank.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, May 3.
The head of the Ukrainian government thanked the world community for their support and noted that this helps to maintain all social payments in full, as well as open new assistance programs.
Shmyhal also said that the Cabinet of Ministers is launching a special platform to raise funds around the world in support of Ukraine as part of the United24 global project. Every person in the world will be able to make a donation and help Ukraine fight for its freedom.
