On the evening of May 3, air raids sounded throughout Ukraine: Russian strategic bombers Tu-95 or Tu-160 launch missile strikes from the Caspian region.

This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Approximately 18 missiles were fired, hitting infrastructure facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Lvov, Vinnitsa, Kyiv and Transcarpathian regions. Also from other means, missile strikes were carried out on the Odessa and Donetsk regions.

According to preliminary data, during the day on May 3, the air defense of the Air Force and the Ground Forces shot down at least 8 cruise missiles, the data is being specified. There is also information about the defeat of 7 drones and one aircraft missile.

The occupiers take care of their planes and helicopters, so they do not enter the airspace controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Aviation of the Air Force made dozens of sorties during the day. Under the cover of the fighters of the strike aviation group, about ten rocket and bomb strikes were carried out against the accumulation of enemy troops, ammunition depots and manpower.

We add that on May 3, buses with people arrived in Zaporozhye, who were evacuated from Azovstal in Mariupol .

On the evening of May 3, the invaders fired rockets at many regions: explosions were heard in the Kiev, Lvov , Vinnitsa and Kirovohrad regions.

In addition, the Russian invaders for the first time since the beginning of the war launched a missile attack on Transcarpathia .

Also, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Artsyz in the Odessa region .
