The problem of fuel shortage in Ukraine, which arose due to rocket bombardments of Russians on oil refineries, will be resolved in the coming days.
According to the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniyenko, people’s deputies and ministers are working hard to solve this problem.
The first deputy head of parliament spoke about this during a briefing on Wednesday, May 4.
“We work a lot with the government and everyone saw a solution that allowed restarting the fuel shortage process,” he said.
Regarding prices, Kornienko noted that they will already be different. Obviously higher than now.
According to the World Bank forecast, in the future, fuel prices will continue to rise until 2024. During this year, according to their estimates, the cost of energy carriers will grow by more than 50% , prices will stabilize only during 2023-2024.
According to Gennady Ryabtsev, an expert on energy issues, director of special projects at the STC “Psyche”, from time to time the shortage of fuel will return and prices for it will grow.
