If necessary or for medical reasons, women under the age of 40 can have a mammogram in polyclinics that provide outpatient care and have the necessary equipment and have concluded an agreement with the National Health Service for the package “Prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and rehabilitation on an outpatient basis.”

What is included in the mammography service
- consultation with a doctor before the study to identify contraindications;
- x-ray examination of the mammary glands in two projections, projection applications, sighting;
- analysis and description of the results and, if necessary, recommendations for the next study;
- recording the results of the survey on digital media.
Prior to visiting the selected medical institution for the examination, we advise you to call by phone and clarify whether the necessary equipment and specialists are there. The contacts of all medical institutions are publicly available on their websites or pages of local authorities.
We would like to remind you that during treatment in a hospital, an ultrasound examination prescribed by a doctor is free of charge. Like all other necessary examinations, ultrasound is included in the corresponding package of services. Therefore, the examination can be immediately in the same hospital where the patient is being treated.
