The possibility of involving the ship grouping of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in launching missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine is not ruled out.
In the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, the ship grouping of the Russian Black Sea Fleet continues to perform the tasks of isolating the area of combat operations, reconnaissance and fire support in the coastal direction.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff for May 4.
“The possibility of involving the indicated ship composition in delivering missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine is not ruled out. Currently, three carriers of Caliber sea-based cruise missiles are in readiness for the use of missile weapons in the Black Sea,” the report says.
At the same time, as Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, noted at a briefing, ships of the Russian Federation still have 22 Kalibr missiles in the Black and Azov Seas.
Recall that Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke about three possible scenarios for the offensive of the occupiers.
