Throughout May 4, Russian troops fired mortars and grenade launchers at the border area in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties as a result of shelling , but the information is being specified.
This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“Today, during the day, border guards recorded mortar and grenade launcher attacks on the border territory within the Gorodnyansky and Semenovsky districts of the Chernihiv region and the Shostkinsky district of the Sumy region,” the report says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that in total on the territory of Ukraine near the border, Russian troops fired about 70 mortar rounds from weapons of various calibers and 24 shots from an automatic grenade launcher.
Recall that during the day on May 3, Russian invaders in the Sumy region from a helicopter fired at the school of the Esman community and carried out shelling from “Gradov” along the border near Yunakovka.
