The Security Service of Ukraine showed a video of the interrogation of the Russian occupier, who confessed to the murder of the civilian population of Ukraine.
As noted in the SBU, this is one of the first confessions of the invaders, which were obtained during the long and painstaking work of the Ukrainian special service.
The video was published on the page of the SBU in the Telegram channel.
In the video, 21-year-old squad leader Vadim explains why he deliberately went to war and how he killed Ukrainian civilians. The occupier said that he went to war to “financially support his mother.”
He also told how he crossed the Ukrainian border. After the occupier crossed the Ukrainian border, he ended up in the Sumy region, and then – in a column with the wounded in the Russian Federation.
According to him, Ukrainian defenders defeated them on the way, so this “hero” and her colleagues took 2 cars from ordinary Ukrainians. The enemy invader fired a line at point-blank range at a civilian who had the misfortune to fall into the eyes of the invaders. “I was ordered to shoot – I fired one burst at him. He fell, and we drove on,” Vadim says cynically.
“He will not hide behind the execution of an order. Such actions fall under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war. And the punishment is up to 15 years in prison ,” the SBU stressed.
As reported, the SBU intercepted another conversation between the Russian occupier and his wife, during which he and his wife complain about the heavy losses of the Russian army due to the war in Ukraine.
